Artıq "essay'i" yazmağa başlaya bilərik. "Essay" özü 3 hissədən ibarət olur:
1. INTRODUCTION 2. BODY 3. CONCLUSION
I. İlk öncə qeyd etdik ki, "İntoduction" hissədən başlamalıyıq. "İntroduction" yəni ilk hissə 2 yerə bölünür:
1. General statement - Mövzu ilə əlaqədar oxucunun diqqətini cəlb edən bir neçə cümlə yazmaq.
2. Thesis statement - Oxucuya mövzunun əsas məqamlarını və məqalənin ümumi planını izah edən bir cümlə yazmaq.
Məsələn: "How media can influence children" - mövzusunda essay yazaq. İlk öncə introduction hissəni yəni general və thesis hissəsi hazırlayaq:
II. İkinci hissə isə "body" hissəsidi. Body hissə bizim planımıza uyğun olaraq paragraphs'lara bölünür. Hər paragraph ən azı 4-5 cümlədən ibarət olmalıdır. Hər body paragraph 3 hissədən ibarət olur: 1. Topic Sentence - Bu, oxucuya paraqrafın nə ilə əlaqəli olacağını və əsas məqamı izah edir. 2. Supporting sentences - Bunlar mərkəzi ideyanı genişləndirir, onu daha ətraflı izah edir, bunun mənasını araşdırır və əlbəttə ki, onu dəstəkləyən dəlil və arqument verir. 3. Concluding sentence - Oxucuya əsas fikri xatırlatmaq üçün topic sentence'dəki ideyanı yenidən ifadə etmək.
III. Son hissə isə conclusion hissədir. Bir akademik inşanın son bölməsi conclusion'dur. Conclusion sualınıza cavabınızı təsdiqləməli və əsas arqumentləri qısaca ümumiləşdirməlidir. Buraya yeni məlumatlar daxil etmək olmaz.
Conclusion hissəni 3 yerə bölürük:
Əvvəlcə thesis hissədə dediyimiz fikri fərqli şəkildə (eyni olmamaq şərtilə) təkrarlayırıq. Daha sonra isə ümumi olaraq qısa bir açıqlama veririk. Son olaraq isə final comment yazırıq, bu hissə aydın və qısa olmalıdır.
